Houlihan Lokey (NYSE:HLI) is a global investment bank with expertise in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, financial restructuring, and valuation. The firm serves corporations, institutions, and governments worldwide with offices in the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and the Asia-Pacific region. As a result of the ongoing expansion of its European operations, the Los Angeles-based firm has moved its London team—including more than 140 corporate finance and 40 financial restructuring professionals—into the firm's new European headquarters at 1 Curzon Street.
The London-based global design company Modus was responsible for the design and fit-out of the new office. Atdec’s monitor arms were chosen to complement DAS’ DATUM Flux and sit-to-stand workstations.
Challenge
- Two 24” monitors had to be mounted on one post and positioned centrally for optimum user comfort
- They needed a solution that was modular in nature for future re-configurations and upgrades
- Limited space at the back of the desk required minimal attachment for the mounting post
- Rotation of monitor arms had to be limited to prevent interference with partitions and allow for the sit-to-stand desks to travel freely
- The overall design of the fit-out and its open plan called for a sleek and aesthetically appealing solution
Solution
- Combining two height-adjustable dynamic arms (AWM-AD) mounted on a medium post
- Cables were managed neatly via monitor arm channels and posts
- White was chosen to complement an open space office design
- The AWM-HS slider accessory was used to deliver maximum flexibility for monitor positioning and adjustment
- C-clamp desk fixing (AWM-FC) provided the necessary support with a minimal footprint
