Bankwest Stadium
Location: NSW, Australia
Client: Bankwest Stadium
The multi-purpose 30,000-seat Bankwest Stadium is a masterpiece of customer-centric design. With the steepest grandstands in Australia, this bespoke stadium brings sports fans closer to the action than ever before. The experience of seeing a match at this venue truly is unparalleled. But it’s not all about sports. Bankwest Stadium also features casual and formal function spaces as well as external precincts. These versatile spaces can be styled to suit all sorts of events for communities and businesses across NSW.
The entire design of Bankwest Stadium revolves around user experience, and visual displays are an integral part of that. Atdec employed a variety of display mounting configurations in multiple applications to optimize the user experience and ensure uninterrupted viewing.
Video walls
For the Director’s Club Room, a large screen was required as the main display for presentations and broadcasting. Atdec combined four screens in a 2×2 configuration on pop-out video wall mounts. These low-profile mounts also offer excellent accessibility post-installation, ensuring that any future servicing or maintenance will be completed quickly and efficiently. In addition, screens were suspended from the ceiling using TH-3070-CT ceiling mounts to ensure that every person in the room would have an uninterrupted view of the presentation.
Event space screens
In many of the stadium’s function spaces, including the Field Club Room, Private Suites, and Lounge areas, screens were required both to broadcast the main event and also as a space for advertising and other media. Depending on the size of the room, either dual or triple displays were mounted using the modular ADB digital signage range. ADB mounts align the screens perfectly and can be tilted to reduce reflectivity and ensure an optimal viewing experience.
Menu boards
Bankwest Stadium features a broad range of food offerings, from standard soccer snacks to healthy and gourmet options from local providers. A versatile and vibrant signage option was required to accommodate the needs of a range of restaurants. Digital menu boards were installed in every fast-food restaurant using ADB mounts. The modular nature of these mounts allow for two to six displays to be combined, depending on the nature and size of the restaurant.
